- As portfolio manager, Mark heads the design, trading and management of stock and bond portfolios. This includes refining our targeted allocation models by mapping technical indicators on top of fundamental analysis.
- He also leads investment performance reviews and evaluates third-party investment manager activity.
A native of Connecticut, Mark has lived in several east coast cities and he currently resides in Vermont. Transitions in his career have happily brought him to Maine, where he hopes to soon call home.
- Mark has over two decades of experience in investment management, research, strategy and trading holding high-level positions at the nationally-recognized firms of UBS, Allianz and National Life Group.
- Most recently, Mark deepened his expertise in corporate and municipal bonds, as well as his portfolio management skills as Director of Fixed Income at HM Payson. Building on his career start in equity research, Mark shares, “I’ve always appreciated the different lenses investors gaze through to analyze risks and returns depending on the asset class.”
