Jack’s philosophy of working with clients centers around a foundation of trust and keen listening. “Being able to deliver in the most important moments of our clients’ lives is critical. Whether it’s losing a spouse, a divorce, the sale of a business, or another pivotal life moment, our clients rely on us to be there when it matters the most,” says Jack. He wants his clients to feel that they can approach him with any issue, and he will be there to offer advice and solutions.
- Jack is a founding partner of Great Diamond Partners, launching the firm in 2019. He is a key player in managing all aspects of the firm, including business strategy and vision.
- He leads investment strategy for the firm, overseeing trading and management across the firm’s strategies. He collaborates with the planning team to provide comprehensive financial plans aligned with his clients’ goals.
- Jack also oversees the firm’s compliance program.
Jack was born and raised in Maine—and attended college here. After 10 years working in Boston following college, he returned to the Pine Tree State.
- He gained valuable industry experience with Bainco International Investors in Boston, working in portfolio management and client services.
- Joining the team that would eventually launch Great Diamond Partners, Jack was a Financial Advisor at UBS Financial Services in Portland, refining his strong analytical, risk management, and advisory skills.
- Moving back to the independent side of the wealth management industry allowed for a more client-driven approach, aligning with Jack’s personal values. “We advocate for our clients like they’re a member of our own family,” says Jack.
Jack is equally committed to serving his community and gives back to organizations he is passionate about.
- He serves as a committee member for the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital Open Golf Tournament, one of the largest fundraising events for Maine’s only full-service children’s hospital.
- He has also served as an Alumni Fund Class Agent for Bowdoin College. These dedicated volunteers support their class gift and participation efforts, build relationships and networks, and encourage engagement with the College.
